Was going to do fri nite & sat nite on beacon (25-26-27 aug) but after seeing quite a few dead pike and other fish (including 1 carp) we decided not to.Is this the reason the match was moved to another location ? Didn't see any signs up from the enviroment agency so i take it this is just a natural disaster ? Would be nice if this site was kept up-to date and we were informed of any such fish deaths.Thought it was strange that no one was bivvied up and fishing the lake fri afternoon !! Perhaps its just the hot weather ? Who knows ? Who in the club really cares ? COME ON !!!!!!!!!!

I saw the fish there mate, shame cause some of the pike where a nice size. There was still a carp match on that weekend it started in the evening, probably why no one was fishing they where saving it for the evening.
